🌱 Full‑Time Teachers – Livestock (2 Positions) & Crops (1 Position)
Location: Muainase (NATI)
Role Overview
These positions report directly to the Head of Department (NATI) and are responsible for:
Planning, facilitating, and delivering course content as outlined in the approved curriculum
Enhancing student learning activities during industrial attachments
Organising and coordinating field visits and educational trips in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture (MOA)
Salary Range: FJD $22,000 – $34,707 per annum
Minimum Requirements
Diploma in Agriculture
Extensive knowledge and experience in farmer training and agricultural science
Strong coordination and facilitation skills
Valid driving licence
🐄 Stockman – Feeds & Stock
Location: Muainase (NATI)
Role Overview
Reporting to the Livestock Supervisor (NATI), the Stockman will be responsible for:
Planning, establishing, and managing pastures for dairy cows
Ensuring optimal forage quality and feed availability
Developing and implementing feeding programs to support high milk production and animal wellbeing
Supervising feed preparation, including mixing, storage, and quality control
Monitoring pasture performance, feed usage, and animal response
Providing technical advice on pasture movement, feed conservation, and dairy nutrition
Maintaining accurate records and contributing to livestock enterprise planning and reporting
Wage Rate: FJD $5.90 – $7.00 per hour
Minimum Requirements
Certificate in Agriculture (Animal Science, Livestock Production, or related field)
Strong understanding of pasture management, dairy nutrition, and feed preparation
Practical dairy farming experience (advantageous)
Good communication, planning, and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
